PACFA registered CLINICAL counsellorPsychodynamic & conversational model (anzap)
My work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy, with a particular focus on how early emotional environments continue to shape our present relationships and sense of self.
Over many years of personal therapy and psychoanalytic exploration, I have come to understand how deeply early relational experiences can live within us — sometimes quietly, sometimes painfully — influencing how we experience closeness, conflict, and connection.
In the therapy room, I aim to offer a steady, warm and attentive presence. Many of the people I work with have long felt unseen or emotionally alone. Part of our work is simply to create space for what has not previously had room to exist.
Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, we slow down and gently explore emotional experience as it unfolds, allowing previously unspoken or unprocessed aspects of the self to emerge safely over time.
I believe meaningful change is gradual. It arises through integration — through being seen, understood, and accompanied in experiences that once felt isolating.
Sessions are available in English and Chinese, in-person in Sydney’s North Shore and online.
